A Collab in Color: Unwonted x Ratchet Clothing

We’re hyped to share something special with you...our latest collaboration with small UK business Ratchet Clothing. This wasn’t just about putting our two names on a tag, it was about getting hands-on, experimenting, and bringing a vision to life together.

For this project, we teamed up to create a series of hand tie-dyed t-shirts and tank tops, each piece completely unique. No two patterns are alike. Every shirt carries its own mix of color, energy, and personality, just like the people who’ll be wearing them.

The process was as raw and real as it gets. Buckets of dye, rubber bands everywhere, and plenty of laughs along the way. We wanted to make sure the end result wasn’t just another collection, but something that truly represents creativity, collaboration, and community.

We just love how our drippy bat logo turned out on the back! And the thrasher Unwonted logo on the front just looks incredible!

Working with Ratchet Clothing pushed us to step outside our comfort zone and get experimental with the process. Tie-dye isn’t about perfection, it’s about embracing the unexpected. That’s something both our brands stand for: doing things differently and finding beauty in the unplanned.

We’re proud of how these pieces turned out, but even prouder of the story behind them. This collab is a reminder that when you come together with the right people, you can create something that’s not only stylish, but meaningful too.
