Unwonted Do It Again!

This is my first adult colouring book but I have heard from friends who colour a lot that many of the books out there can be very disappointing in their image and paper quality. Having been a customer of Unwonted Apparel clothing (leggings and vests) for many years, I didn't have to worry about that as I knew that any item with their name on it would be their usual high standard product. How right I was! They have outdone themselves with this new venture into colouring books. The pictures are crisp, clean and there is a real variety of spooky pages with differing levels of white space to colour. The fact that the back page of the image is left blank for any seepage is a great idea and I can't wait to try out lots of different pens and pencils without worrying that I will spoil the next page.

The paper is nice and thick and I look forward to buying the next book that they print too (more scary dragon/werewolf/vampire images in the next one please, UA)!

The best colouring I've bought

I bought this for my partner and she absolutely loves it. She's been picking it up every evening and telling me how good it is. I've bought her other ones before but they've not been very good quality or the pictures inside weren't that great. This one is brilliant though. Paper is thick so the pen doesn't go through. Lots of variety. Some pictures have more detail than others so you can choose an image based on how much time you have or how tired you are. Perfect for unwinding at the end of a long day. Definitely recommend.

Satisfying designs for lovers of the Creepy Cute

Sick of disappointing adult colouring books and designs, that tend to be fiddly without large, satisfying areas to colour, I knew I could count on Unwonted for something to scratch the itch. The designs are cute, spooky, creepy, and adorable at the same time. There is a good mix of fine detail and large areas, plus plenty of room to add your own customisation with further details and textures.
On top of the wonderful artwork, it's the little touches that make this a great colouring book; designs are printed on one side of the paper only so that you don't have to choose between two to allow for colour bleed to the back of the page, and the first page is a colour test page with a grid of spots to test your pens and pencils on before committing to the design.
I used alcohol based markers for the photo, and due to the paper used by Amazon publishing there was indeed some bleed through - but conveniently the book arrived in a nice cardboard envelope that is perfect for using as a page divider to protect the rest of the book!

Great item, more please!
